History

The parent company of WEY Valve, Inc. is SISTAG, Absperrtechnik located in Eschenbach, Switzerland which is noted for design excellence and quality. Wey valves have been on the market for over 40 years with sales and service offices worldwide. The WEY brand of knife gate valves was first introduced into North America in the early sixties and sold under the brand name Josam-Wey. Then, in 1987, WEY Valve, Inc was founded in Nettleton, Mississippi as the North American sales and manufacturing headquarters for the WEY brand valve line. Since then, WEY has developed various specialized models of knife gate and shear gate valves to solve specific process problems.

Sales and Service

WEY Valve has over 50 Sales Representative offices located throughout North America. WEY Valve prides itself in solving tough valve application problems for our customers and will always take the time to discuss and recommend valves for specific service conditions. WEY Valve has a staff of customer service representatives and field service technicians to serve our customers from before the sale until many years after valve installation. Today, WEY Valve is located on a ten acre site of wooded land in rural Mississippi where we share our "little corner of the world" with a variety of wild animals.
