Liquid plastic melt is one of the most challenging media that can be controlled with isolation valves. To avoid sticking of the mass to the surface of the bore, even the smallest unevennesses are removed with a hand grinder. The entire stainless steel body can be heated from the inside so that the hot, viscous mass does not cool down, solidify and block the passage.
