Sluice gate type 2 with double spindle
This project-specific Type 2 sluice gate sets new standards with a width of 4.5 meters and a total weight of 3 tons of stainless steel.
To operate this impressive gate precisely and reliably, the sluice gate was equipped with two spindles. Each spindle is equipped with its own bevel gear. Both gears are synchronized via a connecting shaft and are driven together by an AUMA actuator.
In order to be able to transport these dimensions smoothly, the sluice gate will be dismantled again after the test phase and prepared for shipping. We are currently manufacturing three identical water control gates for the same customer, which will be installed shortly – a true custom-made product for the highest requirements in wastewater
