Quality that convinces

The Water Protection Association in Zug is one of the largest and most modern wastewater treatment companies in Switzerland. The Schönau wastewater treatment plant is designed to meet the needs of 245 000 residents and can handle up to 1 600 litres of wastewater per second.

The wastewater treatment process takes place in several phases, in which Wey valves play a central role. Not only do they ensure that the wastewater is efficiently distributed into the cleaning channels at the inlet, they are also used in the sand trap, in the primary clarification tanks, in biological treatment and even in the removal of micro-impurities.

For over 50 years, Wey valves have stood for quality, durability and maximum performance in wastewater treatment. Their reliability and efficiency make them an indispensable part of the treatment process.
