BIOLOGICAL GAS

For a long time, the pioneering work in biogas production was viewed rather critically, but since the energy crisis, the tide has turned. The approximately 9,500 biogas plants in Germany could generate about 20% more electricity in the short term and thus compensate for gaps in supply or replace a nuclear power plant. Biogas production is still capped by the legislator, now facilitations are to be created.
