Customer-specific design
The requirements for the more than 40 valves were high: All knife gate valves are ATEX certified and have a separate grounding. Numerous attachments such as filter regulators, pressure gauges, limit switches and quick vent valves were specified by the customer and assembled in the desired design. To make the valves even more robust, all hose lines were replaced by stainless steel piping and galvanized protective hoses.
The knife gate valves will be installed at their destination below silos, where they control the dosing of plastic granulate. They are therefore exposed to significantly higher switching cycles than pure inspection valves. The pre-assembled holding plates are designed to provide additional support for the valves in their horizontal end position.
The valves were thoroughly tested by our clients during a factory acceptance test and were able to convince in all details. The first delivery will take place this week.
