HSI SERIES
The HSI knife gate valve was specially developed for use in pipelines at risk of dust explosions, to prevent explosions from spreading beyond the valve installation point. With a closing time of 23 milliseconds, it makes a significant contribution to protecting human life at work, as well as systems with explosive gas and dust mixtures.

Speed valve with booster
Anyone who has ever seen our HSI knife gate valve in action knows that a fast closing time like this requires a lot of power. If the system air pressure does not allow for this or if an even shorter closing time is required, a booster can be used to speed up the closing process even further.

Our high speed isolation valve «SpeedWey» closes within 23 milliseconds in case of an explosion and protects the rest of the pipe system against destruction. The valve in the picture is additionally fitted with a PTFE inliner, which guarantees smooth surfaces with virtually no crossovers or gaps. It can therefore be used for the pharmaceutical and food industry and protect the facility and human life e.g. from flour dust explosions.
