Conversion of a decorative paper factory
Due to the recurring failures, the customer decided to replace existing valves with Wey knife gate valves on a trial basis. The valves have to prove themselves under the most difficult conditions: The pulpy fiber mixture from which paper is made quickly attaches to valves and blocks them. Likewise the lime used in the further process. In addition, chemical substances eat into the surrounding materials.
The first valves that our Wey sales partner Indutec Soluciones Técnicas installed were already convincing. Since then, 160 knife gate valves have been replaced with Wey valves at the plant.
