Manufactured for one of the largest wastewater treatment plants in Switzerland
Wherever wastewater treatment plants are expanded or merged, the valves must be able to keep pace with the growing volume of wastewater. This sluice gate has certainly succeeded in doing so. With a width of 4 000 mm and a stroke of 1 900 mm, it has dimensions that even we don't come across every day. To make transportation possible, the valve will be delivered to its destination in two halves and only reassembled on site.
Despite its size, this water control gate is tighter than the standard requires in both flow directions and can withstand water columns of more than 3 000 mm.
