With its equipment, this Wey knife gate valve VS with pneumatic actuator is protected against all kinds of adversities:

• Corrosive environments: Its body, gate, top work and even the pipework are made of stainless steel for extra resistance.
• Sticky media: Body and gate have an additional PTFE coating that prevents media from sticking together and blocking the valve.
• Explosive atmospheres: The valve is ATEX certified for zones 0/20 (inner area) and 2/22 (outer area).

For easier handling, the bi-stable solenoid valve and the inductive proximity switches are wired in a junction box. Two of these valves will soon be installed on a petrochemical plant in Spain.
