HD Series
The HD series is an extraordinary development of the Wey knife gate valve for operation up to a maximum pressure of 100 bar. The ingenious design ensures that the pressure of the medium creates an automatic sealing effect inside the seat area. The special bonnet design also allows media containing solids to be flushed out – and, of course, it is completely airtight. This makes the HD series ideal for the most difficult applications.

High pressure knife gate valve for mining
This high pressure knife gate valve HD DN 150 will soon help transporting mining water in Sweden. It withstands a pressure of up to 63 bar, is particularly corrosion resistant thanks to its stainless steel body and bonnet, and easy to clean thanks to its flushing connection.

For high pressures up to 100 bar
In means of handling extremely high pressures and dealing with abrasive, thick and dry media, our knife gate valve HD is our front-runner. Our engineering team designed it with an automatic sealing effect: The higher the pressure, the better the seal. The valve shown in the photo has a nominal size of 350 mm and is leaving for a mine in Australia next week.

These valves DN 80 from the HD series may be small, but with a pressure rating of 100 bar, they are real heavyweights among knife gate valves. Equipped with a hydraulic actuator, they will be used to transport raw water in tunnel construction projects in the future.
